Horses run in Lottie`s family. Since starting out with Mickey (a pony bought by her gran), Lottie has had success on Pony and Young Riders teams. She is now a professional event rider and training as a lawyer!

I`ve spent most of my life around horses - my mum and grandmother were both keen riders. My first pony was bought by my grandmother for me to share with my brother and sister. My first "proper" pony was The Minstrel. I competed in Stockholm as a member of the Pony Team and was best placed of the Brits. School work rather got in the way of Juniors but I was back on the British Team at the Young Rider Championships in Austria.

After Austria, I decided I should have a back up plan so I did a BSc in International Business at the Royal Agricultural College followed by a MSc at the University of Warwick. Since then I`ve thrown myself into my dream of becoming a professional event rider. I`m lucky enough to have four really great horses including Father Jerry (Ted) who is 4*, Classic Decision (Mackie) who is 3* and Cool Decision (Spider).

All in all, 2009 was a good year. Cool Decision went well at 3* level, we had good runs at Barbury, Burham Market and a clear round at Blenheim. He also ran well at Gatcombe Championships and we won an intermediate. My aim for 2010 is to build on 3* and eventually get to 4* in 2011.

I have also done quite a lot of modelling this year and I passed my law exams with Merit - yay! I am now doing the Legal Practise side part time still at Uni. I became the face of the Help for Heroes campaign and launched a new crop top to help raise money for them. Aside from that I have a new sponsor on board - Less Bounce, a sports bra company!
